Lookout Observatory, University of North Carolina Asheville: as an undergraduate, I worked for three years at the university observatory. While I was a docent there, I gave constellation tours and worked the public telescope during open nights, led solar observing sessions for school groups students, and led public demos for the annual NC science festival.

Physics Today: During the summer of 2020, I worked as a science writing intern for Physics Today. While there, I interviewed scientists and wrote two articles for the Physics Today Daily Edition: one about honeybee swarms and another about stealth volcanism on Io.
Bryce Canyon National Park: The summer before graduate school, I completed a three-month internship working as a dark-sky interpretive ranger at Bryce Canyon National Park. While there, I led formal and informal constellation tours, gave a weekly ranger talk, and worked booths at their annual astronomy festival. The programs I led emphasized the cultural and environmental importance of dark skies.
Natural History Museum Science Communication Fellowship: I am currently participating in NHMU's Science Communication Fellows Program (SCFP). Through SCFP, I have completed a comprehensive science communication workshop series and am developing programs to bring my research to the general public.
In addition to the above programs, I have given public-level talks in several venues, including my undergraduate research symposium, the Asheville astronomy club, the Utah astronomy club, and Salt Lake City's Astronomy on Tap.
